about me
I’m a filmmaker, a blogger, a documentarian, a politico, a writer, a videographer, an editor, and an aspiring sommelier. I was born in Southern California, but I call Harrisonburg, Virginia my home.

In front of the old Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin (circa 2005).
I was a film critic and staff entertainment writer for two newspapers in the early 2000s. I graduated from the film program at UT Austin in 2003, and moved back to the Shenandoah Valley to direct documentaries and work on film projects. I’ve produced four documentaries; one screened at the Flickerings Film Showcase in Illinois, and the two most recent docs won the Virginia Association of Broadcasters award for Best Documentary in 2006 and 2007.
I’m currently in preproduction on a feature-length comedy I co-wrote and am producing with Tim Estep.
